Cherry Ripe Smoothie

My most popular smoothie recipe. A household favourite loved by all of my boys and hands down the most popular smoothie with my clients.

Cherry. Chocolate. Coconut. What’s not to love? Inspired by the Australian classic ‘Cherry Ripe’ chocolate bar this smoothie is packed full of flavour, protein and nourishment to get you through your morning. Big bonus of this smoothie? It lasts really well when made in advance so make up 2-3 ahead of time to make your morning escape from the house as smooth as possible.

Ingredients (Serves 1)

  • 250ml milk of choice

  • 2 tbsp coconut yoghurt

  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder

  • 1 tbsp cacao powder

  • 1 cup of frozen cherries

  • Optional - 1/2 cup frozen zucchini or cauliflower


  1. Add all of the ingredients to a high speed blender or blend with a stick blender.

  2. Pour into one glass or portable protein shaker and enjoy!

Notes: You can make this a day or two in advance to save time if you wish.
